DETROIT DT12® VOCATIONAL TRANSMISSIONS
DT12 automated manual transmissions have logged millions of hours of reliability for thousands of Western Star truck owners and operators. Countless more hours spent designing and testing led to the development of the Detroit® DT12-V and DT12-VX, allowing operators to enjoy the rugged performance of the DT12 in pavers, dump trucks, logging trucks, and other demanding applications. You can spec your DT12 as direct-drive or overdrive and even add a PTO for those highway applications that need one.
